Midland Independent School District Bond Measure (1947)

The Midland Independent School District put a $1 million bond proposal on the ballot in 1947. The district sought funding for additions to Midland High School. The bond passed with 65.49 percent of voters approving the measure. This was the district's first bond election.[1]
