Midland Independent School District Bond Measure (1956)

The Midland Independent School District put a $3.5 million bond proposal on the ballot in 1956. The district sought funding for the Bonham, Burnet and Fannin elementary schools, as well as the Alamo Junior High. The bond passed with 77.35 percent of voters approving the measure. This was the district's 10th bond election.[1]
