Voters in the Midland Independent School District, which is located in Midland County in western Texas approved $39.5 million in bonds in 1997. The district placed the measure on the ballot to seek funding for elementary renovations and its technology infrastructure. The bond was approved with 58.20 of voters in favor of the measure. This was the district's 29th bond election.[1]
