Biography
Miguel Levario was born in El Paso, Texas. He earned a Ph.D. in history from the University of Texas at Auston. Levario’s career experience includes working as a professor at Texas Tech University.[1]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
My top priority is to assure that we have guaranteed healthcare for everyone. Second, we will work to bring good-paying jobs to West Texas. Thirdly, we want to provide equal educational opportunities to all of our students. Teachers deserve support and resources to effectively do their jobs.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am especially passionate about elevating my community and bringing equal opportunities to ALL residents of Texas' 19th Congressional District.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
I believe our public officials should be transparent, accessible, and courageous.
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
I believe in service to my community and servant leadership to effectively represent the people of West Texas.
What are your thoughts on term limits?
I believe to effectively lead we should foster new leadership and new ideas for the improvement of our district and country. I support term limits.
