Support our troops and bring them home. Honor our Veterans by keeping promises especially on cost of living benefits, education and healthcare.

Healthcare

My father-he was a man of integrity and character. He instilled in me his hard work effort and selfless giving to others.
Love of people. Love, defined as "selfless commitment" is a key attribute of Leadership. Leaders, like men and women that serve in Congress, must love people.

Recently...John Adams by David McCullough. Since our nation's earliest founding, the struggle for ideas and policies have been intensely debated and fought by both sides of well-meaning, thinking people.
Previous experience in government by US House members has not served us well.

President Trump was the first President of the United States with no previous military or political experience, and he has been challenged by the "experienced" bureaucracy at every turn as he has attempted to reduce the size and scope of government and deliver on the campaign promises that got him elected.
National security against rogue nations and terror

Economic competition with China and other developing nations and regions of the world that would include favorable balance of trade, energy independence and returning national security based manufacturing and mining to the US mainland and Alaska.

Securing our borders and maintaining a legal immigration system that includes the world's best and brightest that want to legally become patriotic citizens of the United States of America.
I'm a registered professional engineer in Kansas and seven other states. I have worked in the electric utility industry for near 40 years. I have been a licensed contractor and was always an entrepreneur. A committee that focuses on energy, infrastructure, technology or business would be a nice fit for my educational background and experience.
