Mike Beltran
Mike Beltran (Republican Party) was a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 70. He assumed office on November 8, 2022. He left office on November 5, 2024.
Beltran (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Florida House of Representatives to represent District 70. He did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on August 20, 2024.
On June 7, 2024, Beltran announced he would not seek re-election to the Florida House of Representatives District 70. [1]
Biography
Mike Beltran was born in New York, New York. Beltran graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2002. He earned a B.A. in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, and a J.D. from Harvard University in 2008. Beltran's career experience includes working as a litigator with Beltran Litigation, P.A.; an associate with Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP; and a law clerk to United States District Judge Steven D. Merryday.[2][3]

My top priority would be working with the state legislature and the county commission to ensure that transportation infrastructure here in Southeast Hillsborough County is improved and congestion is eased.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I believe in limited government and want to ensure that government creates conditions where private enterprise, individuals, professionals, and families can thrive.
What is your favorite book? Why?
The Federalist Papers because it provides a great explanation of the structure of our government and a blueprint for statesmanship.
