Mike Crossey was a 2018 Democratic special election candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 18th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.[1]

Crossey was a potential Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor in the 2014 elections. On November 14, 2013 he announced he would not be a candidate, stating, “I have done a lot of deep thinking, and I actually believe I could win the primary. However, I’m not personally convinced that I help the ticket in the long run- in the General Election, and that’s what this should be about."[2]

Crossey serves as president of the Pennsylvania State Education Association, a position he has held since September 1, 2011. He previously served as PSEA Vice President and Western Region Vice President. He has taught at all levels in the school district, spending most of his time as the high school emotional support program teacher.[3]
