Mike Desjadon
Mike Desjadon was a 2018 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 6th Congressional District of Virginia.[1]
Virginia's Sixth District Republican Committee voted to hold a convention on May 19, 2018, to select a Republican nominee for the seat rather than hold a primary. The committee also supported an amendment that would limit the vote to one ballot, instead of the multi-ballot voting system used at most conventions.[2] Candidates disputed whether this change was designed to favor one candidate or provided a more transparent process.[3][4]
Biography
Desjadon attended Colgate University and worked in the healthcare industry following graduation. In 2007, he began working at the Advisory Board Company, which provides healthcare research, technology, and consulting services.[5]
