Mike Detmer
Mike Detmer (Republican Party) ran for election to the Michigan State Senate to represent District 22. He lost in the Republican primary on August 2, 2022.
Detmer also ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Michigan's 8th Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on August 2, 2022.
Biography
Detmer was born in Traverse City, Michigan. He graduated from Rochester Adams High. He earned a bachelor's degree from Oakland University in June 1998. Detmer's career experience includes working as the vice president of a mortgage broker company based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He later moved to Kansas and opened a branch of the mortgage company. More recently, he has worked in the automotive industry. While attending Oakland University, Detmer served as the president of the Young Republicans.[1][2]
