Mike Faulk
Mike Faulk was a circuit court judge for the Third Circuit Court in Tennessee. The court presides over Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, and Hawkins counties. He was appointed to the court by Governor Bill Haslam on June 27, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of former Judge Kindall T. Lawson.[1] Faulk served out the remainder of Lawson's term which expired in 2014, and he was elected to the court on August 7, 2014.[2][3] Faulk passed away in November 2014.[4]
Faulk is also a former Republican member of the Tennessee State Senate, representing District 4 from 2009 to 2012.

Faulk received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1975, his master's degree from Memphis State in 1978, and his J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law in 1979.[1]
Career
From 1982 until his appointment to the court, Faulk worked as an attorney at his own law practice, The Faulk Law Office, in Church Hill, Tennessee. Faulk served as a Hawkins County Commissioner, as well. He previously served as a Tennessee state senator representing Claiborne, Grainger, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, and Union counties in the 106th and 107th Tennessee General Assemblies.[1]

On Nov. 4, 2008, Faulk won election to the 4th District Seat in the Tennessee State Senate, defeating opponent Michael Williams (I).[6]
Faulk raised $438,160 for his campaign while Jones raised $202,297.[7]
