I am a retired Naval officer, a former Town Council member and four-term State Representative, a former Chairman of the Connecticut Conservative Caucus, as well as an engineer, a husband and a father.
  • I will be a steadfast check against liberal policies that are bankrupting our nation and our future generations.
  • I believe that the current border and immigration policy is an alarming threat to our national security, our communities, and our youth.
  • I believe in a robust and powerful national defense, most notably I strongly support the need to equip our fighting men and women with more submarines.
Economic policy; national defense; immigration policy; appropriations process.
Consistency. Integrity. Compassion. Curiosity. Eagerness to help.
To always stick to your core principles. Your constituents elect you to represent them for a reason. Never lose sight of that.
Knowledge and practical experience in the governing process is important, but not determinative.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Connecticut

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states. To contribute to the list of Connecticut scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
