Mike France
Mike France (Republican Party) is running for election to the U.S. House to represent Connecticut's 2nd Congressional District. He declared candidacy for the 2026 election.[source]
France (Republican Party) was a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 42. He assumed office on January 7, 2015. He left office on January 4, 2023.
Biography
France earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1987, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in 1997 and his M.S. in Organizational Management from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2005.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Timothy Russell Bowles was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Mike France was unopposed in the Republican primary. France defeated Bowles in the general election.[3][4]
