Education

Jacobs received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.[1]

Career

Jacobs was a Georgia state representative from 2005 until his judicial appointment in 2015. He also worked as a sole practitioner.[1]

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Incumbent Michael J. "Mike" Jacobs defeated Catherine S. Bernard in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4]
