Jasper was the Libertarian nominee for Indiana Treasurer in the 2014 elections.[1][2] Mike Jasper lost the general election on November 4, 2014.[3]

The city of Indianapolis, Indiana, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A partisan primary election took place on May 5, 2015. The filing deadline for major party candidates who wished to run in this election was February 6, 2015. The filing deadline for independent or minor party candidates was July 15, 2015.[4] Twenty-five city council seats were up for election. Indianapolis's four at-large seats were not up for election, because those seats were scheduled to expire at the end of 2015.[5]
In the Republican primary election for District 25, incumbent Aaron Freeman ran unopposed. In the Democratic primary, Jeffrey Todd Wheeler also ran unopposed. Freeman defeated Wheeler and Mike Jasper (Libertarian) in the general election.[6]

Jasper ran for Indiana Treasurer in 2014. Jasper was nominated by delegates at the state Libertarian party's primary convention on April 28, 2014, and faced Democrat Mike Boland and Republican Kelly Mitchell in the general election. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
