Mike Marron
Mike Marron (Republican Party) was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 104. He assumed office on September 7, 2018. He left office on December 18, 2023.
Marron (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 104. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Marron resigned from the Illinois House of Representatives on December 18, 2023, to accept a job as CEO of Vermilion Advantage.[1]
Biography
As of January 2020 Representative Marron resides in Vermilion County where he operates a family farm with his father. He has served as chairman of the Vermilion County Board, Vice Chair of the Illinois Soybean Association, and was a member of Governor Rauner's transition team on agricultural issues. He represented the Illinois Soybean Association in Washington, D.C. and served as the association's ambassador to Brazil and China. Marron has been a member of the Danville Public Library Foundation Board of Directors, the Bismarck Lion's Club, and Royal Sons of the American Legion.[2]
