“	Economy / Jobs: Our economy is beginning to show signs of recovery, but the wrong priorities, reckless Washington politics and government shutdowns are standing in the way. It’s time to bring both sides together and go line by line to cut waste, fraud, and abuse to make government do more with less and balance the budget. Medicare and Social Security: Our senior citizens have worked hard and paid into Medicare and Social Security their entire lives – they deserve to have their benefits protected. We can’t continue to allow those in Congress to put politics above people on this important issue. I cannot support ideas that call for privatization and would oppose any such budget proposals. We must protect and preserve Medicare and Social Security – both for seniors today, and for our children and grandchildren. Job Creation: We cannot realize the American Dream until we can provide a good paying job for our citizens. The 11th Congressional District was particularly hard hit by the recession, and while we are slowly recovering, we must work to create job opportunities right here in PA. Tax Relief: Tax Relief should be a bipartisan issues. Veterans: I will advocate for and support full funding and more effective oversight of our Veteran's Hospitals. Long waits and poor care are a national disgrace. Veteran's health care should be second to none, certainly on par with members of Congress.	”
