|I graduated high school and was the first of my family to go to college. After I graduated from Indiana University, I wanted to go into an industry where I could be of service to others. I decided that being a lawyer was the best career choice for me.
I worked to pay my own way through Capital University Law School, as I did for my undergraduate degree. After graduating, I served Franklin County as an assistant prosecuting attorney, and then went to work as a defense attorney with Cooper & Pennington. I currently serve as a magistrate in the Franklin County Juvenile Court System.
- As a current judicial official I treat everyone who appears before me with dignity and respect.
- I have been and will continue to serve the residents of Franklin County rather in or out of court.
- Representation matters, there are a lot of people who come into the courtroom and do not have anyone in the room who understands their background and their story. I hope to be that person who understands.
