|- I was asked to run for this seat by the area chamber of commerce and successful business people in the community. They were looking for someone with a business background that understood the values of the district.
- I will be a true servant to the people. Much like politicians use to be. This will be a sacrifice to actually serve the people. I am not a career politician looking to move up the political ladder. I will be sacrificing time away from my young family and time away from my business.
- History shows us that some of the best political leaders we have had are the ones that are successful before they get elected or into politics. They are not using politics to become successful.
Education- we need to expand our pool of skilled and trained workers. This is critical otherwise we will have a major issue in the housing industry with a skilled labor shortage.
