Defend the constitution, apply the law fairly and protect the community. My first responsibility as a lawyer is to protect the constitution of the United States and Texas. I must apply the law fairly, so that all participants respect the process and follow the judicial decisions. It is essential that we fix our broken system to protect the community. We must use firm but fair measures to ensure that the public is safe. Community service is an essential element of this process to ensure that the participants have ownership in making Harris County a better place to live. the misdemeanor court is the best place to turn a first offender into a public servant.
