Mike Moran is a judge on the Marathon County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He was elected in 2011.

Professional career

Moran has worked as a public defender in Marathon County since 1991. He served as chairman of the Marathon County Democratic Party, but retired from that position when he decided to run for judicial office. He served as the Democratic Party's chairman since 2006.[1][2]

Moran ran for the seat on the Marathon County Circuit Court vacated by the retirement of Judge Patrick Brady. He won 35.1% of the vote in the primary election, advancing him to the general election. He defeated Sandy Marcus on April 5, winning 55% of the vote.[3][4][5]
