Mike Patterson (Texas)
Mike Patterson was a judicial candidate for the Smith County Court at Law in Texas.
Patterson ran for election to the court in 2014.[1]

Patterson ran for election to the Smith County Court at Law.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 43 percent of the vote. He competed against Jason Ellis, James Huggler and Brent Ratekin.
Runoff: Because no candidate received a majority of the vote, Patterson faced Ellis in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. He was defeated, earning 37.6% of the votes cast.

Patterson ran for election to the 131st District Court and was defeated by incumbent John D. Gabriel.[4][5]

Patterson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He was awarded a J.D. from South Texas College of Law.[6]
