Mike Shower (Republican Party) is running for election for Lieutenant Governor of Alaska. He declared candidacy for the 2026 election.[source]

Shower (Republican Party) (also known as Dozer) was a member of the Alaska State Senate, representing District O. He assumed office on January 17, 2023. He left office on November 3, 2025.

Shower served as minority leader of the Alaska State Senate from January 21, 2025 to November 3, 2025.[1]

Shower resigned from the Alaska State Senate District O on November 3, 2025.[2]

Biography

Mike Shower was born in Florida and lives in Alaska. Shower served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years as a fighter pilot, operations officer, and squadron commander. He earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from Touro University.[3] His career experience includes working as a pilot for FedEx Express.[4]
