Mike Thompson (Kansas state representative)
Mike Thompson (Republican Party) was a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 33. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. He left office on August 31, 2025.
Thompson (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 33. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Thompson resigned from the Kansas House of Representatives District 33 on August 31, 2025.[1]
Biography
Mike Thompson served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. Thompson's career experience includes owning a welding shop and working as a contract welder in Oklahoma oil fields, a police officer with the City of Lenexa, Kansas, and a hospital chaplain. He has served on the city council of Bonner Springs, Kansas.[2]
