Mike Thomson
Mike Thomson (b. April 8, 1946) is a former Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 1 from 2007 to 2015. Thomson did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Thomson earned his B.S. and M.S. in education from Northwest Missouri State University. His professional experience includes working as a teacher/counselor at Conception Junction, and administrator/instructor at Northwest Missouri State University.

Thomson won re-election in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 1. Thomson ran unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Thomson is married with two children. He has been a member of the Missouri Retired Teachers Association, Missouri School Counselors Association, Missouri State Teachers Association and the Optimist Club.
