Mike Wood is a former judge for the Harris County Probate Court No. 2 in Texas. He was appointed in August of 1993.[1] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that began on January 1, 2015, and expired on December 31, 2018.[2][3]

Wood ran for re-election to the Harris County Probate Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He defeated Josefina Rendon in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.1 percent of the vote. [3][4][5] 

2010

Wood defeated Democrat Joellen Snow in his bid for re-election for the Harris County Probate Court, winning 55.6% of the vote.[6]
