Biography
Mike Woodin was born in Newark, Delaware. He graduated from Alexis I. du Pont High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in 2005. His career experience includes working in finance. He has been affiliated with the New London Counseling Center, Christian Life Center, and UrbanPromise Wilmington.[1]

|I am the CFO/Finance Director of a business unit for a global consulting firm and my professional experience includes managing budgets in excess of $200 million as well as leadership roles in small business, higher education and corporate America.
Service and leadership in my community are a big deal to me.
I was elected to the Avon Grove School District Board of Directors in 2021 and received the most votes of the four candidates in my region. Since the election: -I’ve advocated for fiscal transparency -I’ve worked to expand mental health resources for our district students (with parental consent), and -I am actively serving on the safety & security committee and have increased safety measures in our schools.
I’m a founding Board of Directors member for a local community non-profit supporting mental health, which offers high quality mental health care in the tri-state area, regardless of one’s ability to pay.
I volunteer with inner city youth, helping them build confidence through outdoor activities and quality time biking, hiking, rowing or climbing.
I am a former elder of my church.- Restoring prosperity in Pennsylvania:
Reduce wasteful spending, taxes and overregulation: -Fighting tax increases, so Pennsylvanians can keep more of their hard-earned money
Embrace our natural resources to ensure we have affordable and reliable energy: -Leveraging our natural resources responsibly as an affordable and reliable source -Enabling the private market to make alternative energy sources affordable to the average consumer
Increase job opportunities and support for small business: -Reducing tax burden on small businesses -Encouraging youth to explore careers in trades, law enforcement and the military
-Fostering stronger connections with local employers and universities to ensure a talent pipeline - Supporting Strong & Safe Communities: Preserve election integrity: -Advocating to require photo ID at polls and to process mail in ballots as they come in -Enforcing penalties for threats against election and polling officials Restore civility to political discourse: -I am unapologetic about my conservative values while understanding we are a diverse 9th district.
