Gulden ran for the Chittenden District seat in 2010. He ran against Steve Laible (I), Richard Jeroloman (I), and Larkin Forney in the primary. He ran against Mike Branon (R), Shelley Palmer (R), Dennis Bedard (R), Annette Roque Renaud (R), Diane Snelling (R), Timothy Ashe (D), Virginia Lyons (D), Hinda Miller (D), Steve Laible (I), Richard Jeroloman (I), and Larkin Forney in the general election on November 2, 2010.[1]
