2014
Alterman's campaign website listed the following issues:[3]
- Economic growth
- Excerpt: "Midland, Texas has limited government, is generating unprecedented economic growth with an extraordinary jobs creation rate. We need to learn from and even copy the successes of the richest zip code in the nation."
- Energy
- Excerpt: "Government rationing of energy production and consumption is the opposite of what North East Ohio people need. Fracking has been a welcome economic boom to us. Slowing down or banning fracking hurts employment and will result in higher utility bills."
- Abortion
- Excerpt: "Women’s health issues are not the same thing as abortion. In rare cases women’s health requires abortions. There is no known pending legislation or proposals to outlaw abortions even when mother’s health is in question. The combining of abortion and women’s health into one is used as a scare tactic to get low information voters voting for Democrats."
