Elections for the New York State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. Incumbent James Brennan was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Mikhail Yusupov was unopposed in the Republican primary. Brennan ran on the Working Families Party ticket and Yusupov ran on the Conservative Party ticket. Brennan defeated Yusupov in the general election.[1][2][3]
