Mildred Methvin
Mildred Methvin (also known as Mimi) was a judge of the Louisiana 27th Judicial District Court.
Methvin (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Louisiana's 3rd Congressional District. She lost in the primary on November 6, 2018.
Methvin was a judge for the 27th Judicial District Division D in Louisiana. She was appointed to the court by the Louisiana Supreme Court on July 17, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the death of former Judge Donald Hebert. Methvin served out the remainder of Hebert's term, which expired on December 31, 2014.[1]
Methvin is a former federal magistrate for the Western District of Louisiana, where she served from 1983 to November 1, 2009.[1][2]

Methvin received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University in 1974 and her J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1976.[1]
