Federalism, Military Affairs, and Elections Committee, Arizona House of Representatives
The Federalism, Military Affairs, and Elections Committee (formerly known as the Military Affairs and Public Safety Committee, Public Safety, Military Affairs and Regulatory Affairs Committee and the Military & Veterans Affairs Committee) is a standing committee of the Arizona House of Representatives.
Per the House rules, committees of the Arizona House of Representatives are assigned by the Speaker of the House.[1] Committees are assigned at the start of each term.[2] A majority of members of a committee constitutes a quorum.[3] The Speaker is not recognized as an ex officio member of any committee.
