This measure asked voters if they wanted to extend the current half a percent sales tax that is in place in the county which helps pay for capital improvements as well as maintenance of certain public buildings.[1]
The question on the ballot:
| Shall the County of Miller extend until the
end of 2030 its existing capital improvements sales tax of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) for the purpose of funding capital improvements to county-owned buildings and paying costs of maintenance and utilization thereof, such extension being necessary for the County to refinance the existing lease purchase obligations for the courthouse and jail?[2] |
