Milo Smith
Milo Smith is a former Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, having represented District 59. He was first elected to the chamber in 2006. Smith did not seek re-election in 2018.
Biography
Smith's professional experience includes working as Owner and Operator of Tax Consultants, Incorporated, founding Century 21 M.E. Smith Company and working for the Cummins Engine Company.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Milo Smith defeated Ryan Lauer in the Republican primary and defeated Zack Ellison (D), who filed to run on June 17, 2014, in the general election.[5][6][7]

2010
Smith won re-election against Democratic candidate Dan Fleming and Libertarian candidate Ed Dilts with 10,196 votes. Fleming received 4,607 votes and Dilts received 603 votes.[10] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
In the May 4th primary, Smith ran unopposed and received 5,481 votes.[11]

On November 4, 2008, Republican Milo Smith won re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives District 59 receiving 15,255 votes, ahead of Democrat Rhonda Roush Bell who received 8,027 votes.[12]

Smith is a member of the Council for Youth Development, Elks Club of Columbus, Family School Partners Advisory Council and the First Christian Church of Columbus.[14]
