The Minnesota Assessments for Local Improvements Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 2, 1869 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure allowed the legislature to authorize municipal corporations to levy assessments for local improvements upon property.[1]
