The Minnesota County Superintendent Qualifications Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the November 3, 1908 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have authorized the legislature to establish educational requirements for county superintendents of schools.

Although the measure gathered more "yes" votes than "no" votes, Minnesota requires that the majority of all voters vote "yes" in order to pass an amendment. In 1908, there were 355,263 total voters, requiring a vote of at least 177,632 to pass a measure.
