The Minnesota Equal Rights Regardless of Gender Amendment was not on the ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 3, 2020.
The ballot measure would have amended the Minnesota Constitution to state that "equality under the law must not be abridged or denied on account of gender."[1]
The measure was not passed before the legislative session adjourned.

The ballot measure would have added a Section 18 to Article I of the Minnesota Constitution. The following text would have been added:[1]
Section 18. Equality under the law shall not be abridged or denied on account of gender.[2]

In Minnesota, a referred constitutional amendment requires a simple majority vote in each chamber of the Minnesota State Legislature during one legislative session.
The constitutional amendment was introduced on January 10, 2019, as House File 13 (HF 13).[1]
On March 7, 2019, the Minnesota House of Representatives approved HF 13, with 72 members supporting the constitutional amendment, 55 members opposing the constitutional amendment, and six members not voting. Since there were 133 representatives on March 7, at least 67 votes were required.[1]
The measure was not passed before the session adjourned.
