The Minnesota Exchange State Public Lands Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the November 8, 1932 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have authorized the legislature to exchange state public lands for federal lands.[1]

Although the measure gathered more "yes" votes than "no" votes, Minnesota requires that the majority of all voters vote "yes" in order to pass an amendment. In 1932, there were 1,054,203 total voters, requiring a vote of at least 527,102 to pass a measure.
