The Minnesota Gross Earnings Taxes Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 8, 1892 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have authorized various gross earnings taxes as well as a tonnage tax on iron ore.[1]
