Minnesota Home Rule for Cities, Amendment 3 (1898)

The Minnesota Home Rule for Cities Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the November 8, 1898 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure amended the home rule section of the Constitution to provide for classification of cities for the purpose of general legislation.[1]
