Expansion of Public Healthcare Options: Small businesses, self-employed workers, farmers and families benefit when they can access affordable healthcare. Providing a viable healthcare option instead of over-reliance on emergency room services saves taxpayers as well.

Affordable and accessible Childcare: In order for parents to successfully re-enter the workforce, we MUST address the scarcity and expense of childcare.

Affordable Housing: In order for Southern Minnesota communities to attract new business, affordable housing options must be available for potential workers. Expanding available housing options will result in reduced cost of home purchases and rental.
In order to create an equitable playing field for ALL students throughout Minnesota, there must be a change in how public school education is funded. This funding plan needs to decrease dependence on property taxes for local school funding, fully fund public schools and provide affordable college and career training.
