The Minnesota Levy of Water Main Assessments Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 8, 1881 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized a levy on all lands fronting any water main or water pipe by the linear foot.[1]
