The Minnesota Prohibit Use of Funds for Sectarian Schools Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 6, 1877 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure prohibited state school funds from being used to support sectarian schools.[1]
