The Minnesota Prohibition on Special Legislation Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 8, 1892 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure expanded and strengthened the Special Legislation Amendment of 1881, adding more areas where special legislation was prohibited and also provided that no special law be enacted when a general law can be made applicable.[1]
