The Minnesota Restrict Issuance of Railroad Bonds Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the November 5, 1872 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure restricted the issuance of county, town and municipal bonds to aid railroads.[1]
