The Minnesota Simplify Taxing Provisions Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 6, 1906 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure simplified the taxing provisions in the Constitution by creating a single "wide open" section to replace several previous sections.[1]
