Minnesota State Trunk Highway System, Amendment 1 (1920)

The Minnesota State Trunk Highway System Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 2, 1920 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure established a state trunk highway system to be constructed, improved and maintained by the state. The measure also provided for a fund for such purpose through taxation of motor vehicles and issuance of bonds.[1]
