The Minnesota Succession to the Office of the Governor Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the November 8, 1960 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for the succession to the office of governor in order to provide for continuity of government in emergencies caused by enemy attack.[1]
