The Minnesota Verdicts by Jury Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 4, 1890 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for verdicts by five-sixths of a jury in civil cases.[1]
