Safeguarding Kids by Hardening Soft Targets like Schools and Churches and destroying Gangs.

Party: Republican Party

Incumbent: No

Submitted Biography "I’m Brad Kohler — a former UFC fighter, entrepreneur, and lifelong Minnesotan running for Governor to bring common sense back to our state. I’ve spent my life standing up to bullies in and out of the ring, and now I’m fighting for the hardworking people of Minnesota who feel unheard and overtaxed. I’m not a career politician — I’m a man of action who believes in personal freedom, fiscal responsibility, and public safety. As Governor, I’ll eliminate the state income tax, end property taxes, and restore accountability across government. I’m running to protect kids, empower parents, support law enforcement, and make Minnesota affordable again for all."

Key Messages

1. Minnesota Needs a Fighter, Not a Politician I’ve fought in the UFC and built businesses from the ground up. I know what it takes to win and lead. I’m not here to play politics — I’m here to fix what’s broken. I’ll fight to end corruption, stop rising crime, and return power to the people of Minnesota. We need leadership that works for everyday Minnesotans, not career insiders.

2. Lower Taxes, More Freedom I will eliminate the state income tax, end property taxes, and reduce car tabs to $99. It’s time Minnesotans keep more of what they earn. I’ll cut red tape for businesses and protect your rights — from the Second Amendment to parental control in education. I believe freedom and affordability go hand in hand.

3. Protect Kids, Empower Parents I’ll fight to protect girls’ sports, stop gender ideology in schools, and ban early transition surgeries for minors. Parents deserve to be the decision-makers in their children’s lives. I’ll expand school choice, improve vocational training, and make sure every child in Minnesota has a path to succeed — without politics in the classroom.

Party: Republican Party

Incumbent: No

Submitted Biography "I am John Krhin, son of naturalized citizen Peter Krhin, who came to the U.S. from Austria in 1913. I was born in Chisholm, MN, the last of eight children, when my father was 60 and my mother 50. This gives me a distinctly different perspective on culture, since my life spans five generations, from my father's birth in 1892. My wife, Julia, and I have been married for nearly 53 years and have been blessed with 8 children, 34 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Born, raised, and residing in the very center of the Iron Range, I've personally witnessed the politics of John Blatnik, James Oberstar, and Rudy Perpich, and the shift from Minnesota common-sense values to the woke culture promoted by today's Democrats. More recently, after serving as an ordained minister of the Gospel since 1981, my wife and I have participated in the grassroots effort to bring the Iron Range into the 21st Century, giving it and Northern Minnesota comprehensive conservative Republican representation for the first time in 100 years. Now, as the next Governor of MN, I propose to lead the rest of MN back to Common Sense for MN, modeled on that launched by Thomas Paine before the U.S. Revolution. MN needs a Constitutional reset, of which I will lead the way, bringing government back to WE THE PEOPLE, reducing the size and scope of MN government, giving citizens, not entrenched politicians, control of the State. @krhin4gov and krhin4gov.com"

Key Messages

I will govern within the scope of the MN State and U.S. Constitutions, and The Declaration of Independence, all of which are undergirded by the fact that our rights are endowed by our Creator, the God of the Bible, and that these documents are intrinsically built upon the Christian development of Western culture. Our immigration policy is also built upon this foundation, requiring by oath that citizenship requires the renunciation of fidelity and all allegiance to any foreign prince, potentate, or sovereignty. Historically this pattern of assimilation to our God-ordained Republic, includes the adaptation of English as our common language, requiring occasional limits and even suspension of immigration to advance this process. WE THE PEOPLE.

Government is bloated and has grown beyond the comprehension of our Founders. However, their foresight produced Article V of our U.S. Constitution, which grants the States the ability to call for a Convention of States for proposing Amendments to the Constitution. The current initiative has been legislatively approved by 19 States, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress. I will lead MN to join this effort, which will trigger the Convention when 34 States pass the initiative. This will provide a model for MN, upon which we can implement similar amendments to our State Constitution.

Life, is the preeminent unalienable Right endowed by our Creator. Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade, MN and all the Stated have the opportunity to reinstate life as a guarantee for the unborn. I will lead MN to form a LIFE INITIATIVE COUNCIL, tasked with producing a 21st century study of life from conception to the grave, and an historically accurate study of how the abortion industry has disrupted the development of our Constitutional Republic, exposing the deranged initiatives of Margaret Sanger and her sympathizers, aimed first at diminishing the influence of the black race, and now destroying the fundamental ability of U.S. citizenry to produce a God-given posterity upon which our Nation can be built. WE THE PEOPLE

Key Messages

Restoring Prosperity, Freedom, and Safety As your Governor, I’ll act immediately to deliver results for Minnesotans—cutting taxes, empowering parents, ensuring fairness, and strengthening safety. My 100-Day Plan tackles your priorities with decisive action.

In a Parrish administration: • People will be fired for negligence and criminal activities—not because they offended somebody. • Boys are boys. Girls are girls. • Your hard-earned income belongs to you—not to grifters and thieves. These principles guide my fight to restore common sense, protect freedoms, and deliver real results. No more waste, no more division—just prosperity for all Minnesotans.

I will appoint commissioners for agencies like Revenue, Management and Budget, Education, and Public Safety, who prioritize efficiency, transparency, fairness, and safety. Acting commissioners will begin work pending Senate confirmation, delivering monthly reports targeting $50 million in administrative savings by Day 100. This plan reflects my vision for a Minnesota that empowers its people, protects fairness, and prioritizes practical solutions. By ensuring fair sports and facilities, ending divisive DEI and sanctuary policies, cooperating to deport violent felons, replacing Due North with skills-focused education, advancing school choice, and cutting taxes—including the gas tax—we will build a stronger, safer, and more unified Minnesota
