Miranda Joseph
Miranda Joseph (Democratic Party) ran for election for Alabama Auditor. She lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Joseph twice previously ran for the auditor's office. She was defeated in the 2010 and 2014 general elections.[1]
Biography
Joseph was born in Enterprise, Alabama. She is a certified internal auditor, and she is certified in risk management. She graduated from Enterprise High School and went on to earn a B.S. in accounting and an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama Birmingham. Joseph is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She is also a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She has one son with her husband Second Lieutenant Damon Watson.[2]

2014
Joseph ran for election to the office of Alabama State Auditor. Joseph was unopposed for the Democratic nomination in the primary.[3] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
The seat was open in 2014 because former state Auditor Samantha Shaw (R) was term-limited.
