The Mississippi Acting Governor, Amendment 3, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 3, 1992, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended. The amendment proposed that any officer performing the duties of the governor, while the governor is away, shall be paid their regular salary plus the difference between that salary and that of the governors.[1]
